Chris Evans Kaweesi enters politics-to vie for MP-ship

Chris Evans Kaweesi, the soft voiced musician has revealed his interest in joining politics at MP level.

The Siritagala hit singer made the Revelation Wednesday while being interviewed by Titie Tabel on Buganda’s CBS radio mid morning show.

Chris Evans, said he is going to stand for Makindye Ssabagabo Municipality Parliamentary seat in 2021. The area is currently represented by Sempala Kigozi of the Democratic Party.

Kaweesi said he is ready to serve the people of Makindye Ssabagabo especially the youth by creating jobs to beat unemployment and improving social services in the area.

King Saha, Ronald Mayinja, Matthias Walukaaga, Marian Ndagire, Patriko Mujuka among others are musicians who have expressed political interests while Bobi Wine, Kato Lubwama and Judith Babirye plus Peter Ssematimba are entertainers in the house.
