Oulanya has refused to help M7 rape the Constitution, will Kadaga do?

On Tuesday Deputy speaker Oulanya told the house he will not handle any private members bill or if he is to do he must make consultations with the Speaker. In brief he refused handling the elusive age limit bill expected to be tabled Thursday.

Until recently, Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Jacob Oulanyah, just like former Deputy Chief Justice, Stephen Kavuma, has been just too anxious and too overzealous to play President Museveni’s dirty political games in Parliament, thereby helping pave the way for Executive penetration and swallowing of the House.

But now he has ruled that, this time round, it will be Speaker Rebecca Kadaga to decide on the anti-age limit bill.

So far the popular woman from Busoga has been able to stay clear of the dirty politics in Parliament.

Indeed one time dirty politics almost removed her from Speakership of Parliament.

The timely question is: Is the woman of integtity and character at last being encircled by the dirty Yoweri Museveni politics in Parliament.

or

Is Oulanyah finally remembering that he comes from Northern Uganda where his people were eliminated in an extensive genocide and deliberately thrown into concentration camps by  Museveni’s government for years.

or he is taking note that land grabbing by Museveni’s kinsmen had reached his area victimizing his own people so he now fears his people will never forgive him if he acted like before?

Will Kadaga accept to tarnish her image by this treacherous act for which even anyone participating may be ostracised by Ugandans long after President Museveni has left power?

Let’s wait and see if Kadaga will enter the snare headlong
