The trend for young Ugandans to get married to aged and retired people in the western countries started with Women. But now the number of young men hooking up marriages with white grannies is becoming noticeable.
Some observers claim that these Ugandans are not really in these marriages for love but they are using them to get citizenship in the developed world. Whether that is true or false a Ugandan Mr Muwonge a few days ago exchanged marriage vows with a white lady believed to be more than twice his age in one of the Scandinavian countries.
