Otunnu to M7: You have no right to dispossess the people of their land

The former President of UPC Dr Olara Otunnu has weighed by stating that President Museveni has no right to dispossess the people of their land.

Otunnu who like many politicians from the region has camped in Amuru day that the only asset the people of northern Uganda own after being driven from their land and dumped in concentration camps for over two decades is land.

“Mr Museveni does not own any land in northern Uganda and should not imagine that because he is the President of the country, he has the right to grab land from the poor owners and give the so called investors”, Otunnu said adding that the Land ownership is very sensitive and should be handled with a lot of caution.
