Criminals invade MP Nambooze’s home at night

Police in Mukono is on a manhunt for two men who invaded Mukono Municipality legislator, Betty Nambooze’s home late in the night.


According to Nambooze’s description these men were dressed in heavy jackets and had a waiting car parked a few meters from her house. She adds that it was raining when these criminals attacked her home at around 3:00 am, to avoid failing their mission they sent into deep sleep with chloroform, disabled all security lights and cameras.


They then tried to access her house, but when they sensed that police was approaching the two men in her compound varnished and the waiting car that was parked meters away from her gate took off.


According to police these men’s intentions are not clear yet but they suspect it to have been a robbery mission.


Later police sealed off her home and investigations are underway into the matter.
