Warring South Sudan is hit by fuel shortage

South Sudan’s capital Juba has been hit with a three day fuel shortage which has sterilized  public transport and business in in the warring country.

Disgusted drivers are calling upon authorities to supply fuel stations with diesel and petrol.

A 20 litres of petrol is now sold at 8,000 SSP and citizens say the prices go up daily due to fuel shortages at petrol station in Juba city.

According to SSD banned source Radio Tamazuj people are running out of the country at a high pace and streets of Juba are almost empty with people only visible at bus stations to jump on the few available public vehicles .

The head of the energy committee in South Sudan’s national parliament, David Nailo, said they plan to summon the Minister of Petroleum to explain the fuel shortage in main petrol stations.
