Simeo Nsubuga blames opposition for his shameful assault

Simeo Muwanga Nsubuga has spoken out on his assault by William Ntege aka KyumaKyaYesu who dragged him off the MPs queue to great the Kabaka at Buwekula on his 24th coronation day Monday.

Ntege accused Nsubuga of betraying Buganda and Uganda by aligning with no age limit agitators yet during day he acts royal to the Kingdom.

This was the second time in one week that Simeo is dragged off public functions for his stand on constitutional amendment

In a post to fellow age limit advocates Muwanga promised to pay back the ‘opposition’ in the same currency and said he can’t be intimidated by a peoples war when he has fought armed wars.

The post reads:

“Members the criminal behaviour exhibited by Ntenge William Kyuma Kyayesu a journalist formerly working with WBS stopping me from paying respect to His Majesty the Kabaka was a well organised and calculated plan by members of the opposition from Kampala to intimidate me and stop me and other members of the Parliament who have come up to express their views in support of the forthcoming constitutional amendment of article 102 (b).

My message to Ntenge and his sponsors that your maneuvers will meet a dead. You can’t intimidate Simeo, try somebody else I have been in more serious situations than this one. Somalia & South Sudan were more risky and life threatening than this one but I survived. However is this a good signal to know what members of the opposition are planning to do to us as NRM Members who are supporting the constitutional

amendments you have started the music in Mubende today we are getting back to you in the same currency. Nobody will scum to your intimidation acts. Just watch the space.”
