Embattled Salva Kiir in Uganda to meet Museveni


Just days after declaring a state of emergency in parts of South Sudan, President Salva Kiir has rushed to Kampala for bilateral talks with Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni.


Kiir left Thursday accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Kuol Manyang Juuk, Minister of Wild Conservation and SPLM Acting Secretary, Jema Nunu Kumba and the Minister in the office of the President, Mayiik Ayii Deng left  Juba Thursday morning for a one day official visit to Kampala, Uganda.


Speaking to press at Juba International Airport, before departure, Mayiik said the President is going to discuss with Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni issues of bilateral Relations between the two sisterly Countries.


Mayiik added that the two principals will also discuss regional issues, among them the Army warm which is destroying the corps in the Region including some part of South Sudan.
