Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Sredojevic “Micho” has hours after the cranes match against South Sudan confirmed his resignation from the national team the SpearSports can exclusively reveal.

The resignation confirms reports that came out earlier this week about his planned resignation which he refuted

The SpearSports has learnt from inside sources at FUFA that the national soccer management has got his informal resignation.

Sources within FUFA that prefers anonymity have intimated to this site that the Serbian tactician will make his resignation official on Tuesday during the routine FUFA press conference. It is organised that FUFA will use the occasion as a formal farewell to him as he is expected to leave the country on the same day.

According to our sources ‘Micho’ is going back to South Africa’s soccer giants Orlando Pirates which gave him a training deal better than Uganda’s

He becomes the second Uganda national team coach to dump the cranes and go for club duties after coach Csaba

On his part however Micho said he is quitting due to unpaid salary totaling to over six months.

“I was here and worked for SC Villa, left demanding salary for over 10 months. Same thing is happening now, I have dedicated my life and sacrificed my family and time but in the end I’m not appreciated. I’m tired, let me go to a place where my energy and commitment will be rewarded,” Furious speaking Micho told CHIMPREPORTS.

The tactician joined the Cranes  in 2013 and helped it return to the African Cup of Nations after 39 years
