South Sudan government reports have confirmed that at least 35 people have died and 25 others wounded in a Rup and Pakam inter-community clashes on Sunday in the Western Lake state

“We have received causalities of 14 people and 13 severely wounded but the general situation now is calm” he told Gurtong new in an interview

He said the South Sudanese army was not involved or even present as the two communities clashed
