Magogo unopposed as FUFA electoral committee disqualifies Mujib Kasule

The Fufa Electoral Committee has this evening released a statement suspending Kasule Mujib after having scrutinized his earlier submitted nomination forms and found he did not qualify as a candidate according to the bodies mandatory requirements as stipulated in the FUFA Electoral code.

The committee headed by Samuel Bakiika, made the revelation in a press conference held  Monday evening

As an aspiring candidate Mujib Kasule was originally supposed to present his documents  Friday, 16th June 2017 at 2:30 p.m but he came late and his papers were sort of many requirements.

The committee extended official nomination to Monday when he was expected to take all papers for scrutiny which he has failed according to the committee.

Bakiika quoted Articles 10 and 11, sub sections 2, 5 and 6 of the FUFA Electoral code of 2012 concerning the mismatches where Kasule ran short.

The decision automatically means incumbent President Moses Magogo is un-opposed

Kasule last week vowed to seek legal reddress once not nominated successfully on Monday.

88 members of the FUFA General Assembly will convene at Masindi Resort Hotel on 5th August 2017 for the 93rd  convention yo elect a new FUFA boss.
