Prof. Lawrance suffers cardica arrest, passes on
Professor Lawrence Mukiibi, the Director St. Lawrence of Schools and Colleges has passed on after suffering a heart attack. His eldest daughter and Rector of St, Lawrence Schools, Maria Justine Tulina, says her father suffered a heart attack around 1am this morning at his residence in Kitemu in Wakiso district.
According to Tulina, they rushed Professor Mukiibi to Norvic Hospital where he breathed his last at around 2am while being monitored by a team of doctors from Norvic and Nakasero hospital. Tulina explains prior to the cardiac arrest, Professor Mukiibi slipped off his bed and sustained head injuries about two weeks ago but was treated at Norvic Hospital.
Earlier reports had indicated that Professor Mukiibi died after slipping in his bathroom while taking a shower. According to Tulina, the death of professor Mukiibi will not affect the opening of their schools for the second term on Monday as planned.
