Missing Mayuge Imam being kept in Nalufenya

Mayuge Imam Sulaiman Mudenyo is being held at Nalufenya detention facility. This was revealed by the Internal Affairs Minister, Gen. Jeje Odong in a statement he issued in parliament today in response to a concern raised by Waira Kiwalabye Majegere, the Bunya East Member of parliament on the disappearance of Mudenyo.

On Tuesday, Majegere told parliament that Imam Mudenyo was picked by police together with his son, Kassim Mulawa from his home in Mwezi in Mayuge district on April 9th 2017. The duo was reportedly taken to a place known as Wembley in Buligo in Iganga district.

According to the MP, Mudenyo’s son returned home forcing his family to trace for him at Wembley but they failed to locate him.
