Lord Mayor Lukwago's mail boy knocked dead by a speeding trailer

Lord Mayor Erias  Lukwago’s mail delivery assistant Mayanja Godfrey has been knocked down by a speeding lorry this morning.

A statement from the Lord Mayor’s office read:

The office of the Lord Mayor is saddened by the demise of Mayanja Godfrey,  who was part of Lord Mayor’s staff particularly responsible for delivering documents to different destinations. Mayanja has been knocked down by a speeding trailer at Kyengera and he died on the spot. He has left behind 5 children. The program will be communicated later.
