You ‘good’ Ugandans who are judging ‘The bad Man’ H.E Bobi Wine based on his musical career, which careers are a preserve for parliament? How have they(if any)faired?
How come you don’t judge lawyers, journalists, magistrates,farmers, Clearing and forwarding agents,Priests, Doctors,Teachers,Jobless etc, who cross from their respective careers to join Parliament?! Why do you look at Bobi wine as an artist but look at a lawyer and all the above mentioned as good MPs?!
OK,granted, who amongst your respectable calibres of professions can mobilize, nurture, train,lead (not mislead) and produce good citizens from gheto places if not a leader?
who can make them responsible members of society with dreams and aspirations?! In your areas there many poli-tricians have tried it, are there any tangible fruits so far better than Bobi Wine?!
Do you know that in real life change leadership Bobi Wine is unparalleled?! What’s leadership?
Ok, let’s also talk about dabates and right judgments since it’s the job in Parliament; let any one who has ever faced Bobi Wine in a discussion of any nature tell me that he lacks intelligence and broader thinking!
I saw some one bringing in lucky Dube, Chaka Chaka etc, Lucky Dube was killed,who knew his agenda in life before age or natural death?! And who says Bobi must learn from the lucky Dubes but must not learn from Schwartz Nigers or even Tanzania here (I have forgotten his name)?
But also, who says that it must be Bobi to learn from them and never vise-versa?! Why should their limitations (if any) be Bobi Wine’s limitations?
What’s wrong with Africans? Singing is a talent and gift from God, don’t use it to judge one’s other capabilities in serving society. I support him, I will campaign for him (if he calls me to).
