On Easter Saturday DP President Norbert Mao made a trip to Western Uganda Mbarara where he had a meeting with Inspector General of Police Gen Kayihura and police spokesman at Lake View hotel.
In the meeting they discussed the issue of the opposition seriously re-building in Buganda. They specifically zeroed on Nambooze as the locus of opposition in the region. According to Kayihura, security had intelligence that the entire opposition was targeting to use Nambooze’s reputation and position to traverse and rally support within and outside Buganda for opposition.
This meeting was a follow up on a series of meetings being held since the rise of ‘BAD DP’ to challenge the status quo which came after Museveni had fully concluded that he was in full control of all oposition hence declaring GOOD DP and that there will be no opposition by 2021.
In the meeting, the regime ordered for a total expulsion of Nambooze from the Democratic Party. Reasoning that if Nambooze’s position as Buganda president is canceled she will have no position to make regional tours.
It was assessed that with police brutality on 31st Nsambya meeting, Nambooze’s campaign gained momentum which MBIDDE and Mao alone can nolonger check. So this became a direct state project working through the party.
It was also in their plan to curtail her from proceeding with a planned meeting and rally in Masaka on Sunday 23rd, Luweero on 28th, Gulu on 6th and others.
Mao set his price on which Kayihura immediately came clean. The SpearTip dug out that Mao budgeted for 26 members each to earn 1m for the project. Mao was sure of 4members MBIDDE, Siranda, Mufumbira, Ssembajjwe who were not budgeted on package.
When he returned on on 19th with Mbidde, Siranda Blacks and Mufumbiro he hurriedly called a meeting at the party headquarters to plot a best implementation strategy.
Its worth noting that Mao had in a press conference on 11th told press DP had no accusation against Nambooze and the issue did not appear on day order paper already sent out to members.
In that planning meeting, Hon Namayanja Florence who also heads the DP Women League was tasked with mobilising Buganda to vote for the expulsion of Nambooze.
On his part, Mbidde was to move to radio stations and Tvs collecting Nambooze’s sound bytes and video clips from programs in which Nambooze has featured to be used as evidence.
Imam Makumbi the DP Vice President for Western Uganda was promised a trip to Germany to in return for rally support from the Western Uganda which he totally rejected.(the trip offer was cancelled by Siranda when he rallied western block to abstain from the fracas)
Isah Kikungwe and Hon Babirye Kabanda who are treasurer and deputy treasurer respectively who members had planned to pin on financial mismanagement in DP resources were set out to accuse Nambooze as a way of diverting NEC from discussing financial accountability issues which they didnt have.
The conspirators relied heavily on Hon Namayanja who was recruited owing to her being a member of IPOD who meets with President Museveni regularly.
DP Eastern Uganda Vice President Mutembuli who was ill was gotten off a hospital bed to bolster the evil scheme.
It was then decided that youth junior members of NEC Ssembajjwe and Nakyanzi would move and second the motion respectively. The youths were chosen besides not because they are Baganda from the region Nambooze leads to justify the act among Baganda who are majority DP supporters.
Mbidde assured members who had concerns over procedural issues that it will go silliest as all executive members will be funded.

The DP Legal Advisor Sam Muyizzi Guided the Committee on the constitutionality of their move especially on giving the accused an opportunity for a hearing.
Whereas the Kayihura had ordered for an expulsion this legal interpretation caused a still, its because of this that they resorted to hiding under a 3 months suspension which NEC still has no mandate either
Acting Party Chairman Mayambala a two times Makindye Division Councilor election failure fished out of his pocket the motion soon as the order paper was amended amidst members complaints.
In amending the order paper Mao notably stood and told members “I’m the president my word is final and none should oppose my word”
After watching and listening to clips on TV brought in by Mbidde, The matter was hurriedly subjected to vote.
DP NEC is composed of 44 members currently its sort of 9 who resigned or joined main stream NRM. 30members attended the Thursday meeting.
On voting. 6 members walked out, 5 abstained and 2 voted against the suspension. Western Uganda delegates led by Vice president Imam Makumbi abstained.
According to DP constitution the chairman doesn’t vote. Here 6members who were the direct accusers voted for. After voting.
Mbidde who commands a line of social media fake accounts sent out the results, NEC VOTES to suspend Nambooze 22-1!! This misleading message was meant to justify and humiliate Nambooze.
On recount with 30 members, 6walked out 2vote for and 5 of the entire western region abstains. Where is the 22-1.
