Hon Mathias Mpuuga vows to carry on 'Make DP Great Again' Campaign
Leaders of Make DP great again campaign have expressed their resolve to continue with the effort to make the party great again.
While addressing the media Friday at Nsambya, Masaka Municipality member of perliement Hon Mathias Mpuuga informed the nation that Hon Nambooze’s life is out of danger after the torture from police in Masaka last Sunday where she was hit with a rubber bullet on the head while Hon Sseggona was hit on the leg.
He condemned the continued practice by Mbidde and Mao of brutally suppressing member’s rights of assembly and called upon them to uphold any values that they demand of the NRM government
He added that DP Buganda leaders are ready to put their lives on the line and are prepared to pay the price for the cause of freedom and fighting dictatorship at all levels in Uganda
“We cannot allow a desperate failed lawyer sink our party as he sleeps on the job given to him .We have a job to save our party.” Said Mpuuga adding that
“He (Mao) is someone who does not think beyond City House (DP headquarters) where he sits. We should not only stop at press conferences like he does but work to ensure the party regains public trust,” He vowed
The meeting was attended by hon Ssegona and many other DP leaders from Buganda
