His Eminence Cardinal Emmanuel Wamala celebrates 90 years

His Eminence Emmanuel Cardinal Wamala marked his 90th Birthday in Kalisizo Rakai district. The Cardinal led mass held at Kamaggwa village-Kalisizo sub-county to celebrate 90 years of life.

During the homely he thanked the Almighty for the fruitful life he has given him and the elevation in priesthood that saw him reach the level of a Cardinal.

Emmanuel Wamala was archbishop of the Archdiocese of Kampala, Uganda. He was credited a Cardinal-Priest of S. Uganda in 1994.

He served as archbishop of Kampala until he resigned on 30 September 2006. He was born on December 15, 1926
