Heavy deployment at Masaka town and Lwera ahead of DP conference
Our Reporter in Masaka reports heavy deployment around the tropical inn hotel where the area MP Mathias Nsamba Mpuga and the DP Masaka conference have organised a conference under the theme making DP great again.
Majority of DP leaders in Masaka have sided with the suspended DP Buganda President who is at loggerheads with Party President General Norbert Mao.
The Masaka leaders invited Nambooze as the chief guest at the conference prompting acting Secretary general Blacks Siranda to write to police appealing for assistance to stop the meeting.
In Masaka Nambooze intends to launch a country wide tour code named “DP Members Caravan to re-awaken the party”.
Our reporter has also reported a heavy and nonsense road block at Lwera where all passengers from Kampala to Masaka are subjected to a search after being moved out their cars. Nambooze who is travelling with MP Busiiro East Medard Ssegona and a big convey of supporters is yet to reach Lwera
