Uhuru Kenyatta declared winner with 54.27 % Raila not to go to court
- Uhuru Kenyatta: 8,203,290 (54.27%) Raila Odinga: 6,762,224 (44.74%)
IEBC has declared incumbent Uhuru Kenyatta winner of 2017 presidential election amidst contravacies.
He got 8,203, 200 votes and opened his new term with Good is good.
Earlier in the day, Nasa presidential candidate’s chief agent James Orengo said the court option is not viable and instead called upon Kenyans to take corrective measures if necessary.
“Going to court is not an alternative for us. Nobody should think this is the end of the matter” -Orengo said
The announcement came in absence of NASA leaders who walked away hours before saying they could not be part to the confusion.
