Bika tournament; Ffumbe, Mamba bag first leg wins

The mighty Ffumbe clan walloped Ngeye clan 3-0 Tuesday evening in a thrilling Bika by Baganda round of 16 match played at Muteesa 11 memorial stadium Wankulukuku.

Games at this stage are played on home and away basis, hence Ffumbe and earlier match winner Mamba Gabunga got a first leg advantage pending a return leg next Tuesday.
Mustafa Kasolo the Ffumbe’s Captain scored a brace scoring in each half and new boy Ssekasi Newton struck a late long range strike to bag 3 goals for Walusimbi’s grandchildren, and Ntege William Kyumakyayesu’s brothers.
Earlier, in the first game of the day, Mamba Gabunga beat their brothers Mamba Kakoboza 1-0 to set one foot in the quarter final
The match saw a rare score when Farouk Musisi curved a corner kick straight into the net minutes into the game
Tomorrow [Wednesday], Nvuma will face Nte who beat them 1-0 in the first leg while Endiga will play Mpindi with whom they drew 2-2 in the first leg
