56 Bobi Wine voters confined in Nalufenya-Police
Uganda Police Spokesperson Asan Kasingye has confirmed they are holding 56 Kyadondo voters at Nalufenya.
In a statement issued Thursday afternoon, Kasingye said the 56 were arrested for “holding illegal assemblies”.
The statement lists: 24 were picked from Magere; 14 from St Kizito Kiri; 13 from Gayaza; and five from Nabutaka. All in Wakiso district’s Kyadondo East Constituency, represented by just elected Bobi- Wine.
