Kenya opinion polls; Uhuru-Raila Neck to neck run off expected~VIDEO
Latest opinion polls by Infotrak done between June 24 and 27 2017 indicates a neck to neck race in Kenya elections and a run off is predicted between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga as none is expected to raise 50% of the votes in the first round.
According to the released statistic, Uhuru is primed to collect 48%, Raila 43%, Abduba Dida with 0.5% while Ekuru Aukot, Cyrus Jirongo and Joe Nyaga would each get 0.1% of the votes.

This automatically means a run-off between Uhuru and Raila. To be declared winner, according to Kenyan laws one must garner 50% plus one of the total votes cast in round one. The winner in the run-off is determined by a simple majority.
The survey was done in 29 counties, 92 constituencies by interviewing 2000 Kenyans who represented the 19.6 million voters .
Results further show rankings in popularity as follows:
UHURU: Central(90%), North Eastern(75%), Eastern(58%) and Rift Valley(56%)
RAILA: Nyanza (83%), Coast (61%), Western (53%) and Nairobi(51%).

Uhuru is further ranked more popular than Raila with higher support in Central Kenya political district while Jubilee emerged more popular than the NASA coalition to Kenyans.
