Confrontational Hossam Middo banned by Egyptian FA
Ex-Pharaohs and Tottenham striker who is currently coach for Egyptian side Wadi Degla Ahmed Hossam ‘Mido’ has been suspended by the Egyptian Football Association’s competitions committee
It comes after the former Zamalek head coach was found guilty of protesting against the referee in a Egyptian Premier League game against El-Maqassa.
The former Tottenham forward was handed a one-match ban Tuesday by the EFA after he was ordered to leave the touchline for protesting against the referee in Degla’s win over Misr El-Maqassa on Saturday.
The ban will apply to the Wadi Degla’s upcoming league game against Smouha on Thursday, April 27.
